There are six major types of sheet metal material, each with its own unique advantages: 1. Aluminum. For applications that require a more lightweight material, is an excellent option. This type of sheet metal offers significant corrosion resistance even without a finish. Aluminum is also strong and can undergo laser cutting, welding, and machining.

what is a cable clamp
Is there some Caddy fastener that would make it easier to attach lots of 4 square boxes to I-beams? I thought about using a single beam clamp (1/4-20 bolt) to the box, but I was not sure if there was something better/sturdier out there? 1/4 inch beam clamps, as pictured in the post above, are perfect for your application. Tek screws won't work on thick steel, they will strip their own threads out of the steel. You can drill 1/4" holes thru the beam relatively easily, but standard beam clamps like posted above work a hell of a lot better. Teck 5 screws.

The covers typically say “WATER” and “METER” on them and also have a recessed nut for securing them. They can be located anywhere from the curb to right outside the house, depending on when they were installed and the specifications of the local water authority. In both cases these covers contain the access to the main house valve.
