Do not use splitters from home depot or Lowes.those are designed for analog or antenna systems.The cable in my house is attached below the eave and runs down near the ground. It then loops up (anchored to the brick) so gravity takes care of runoff. It is also sealed with silicone caulk and does not budge - it is anchored both inside and outside and bends to get through the wall.If you really wanted an enclosure, you could use an electrical box with a weatherproof cover, feed the cables up from below, make the connections, then shove everything in the box and close it . but it's going to make it harder if you ever want to change things out.
